Useful Apps for Agents
As real estate agents, we definitely have plenty to juggle, and we hardly stop moving. As we chase the satisfaction, prestige, and income that such a full plate entails, it’s important that we take advantage of tools that will:
· Improve our workflow
· Position us to exceed client expectations
· Bring in the most qualified buyers
To that end, here are useful apps for agents that Parks Realty recommends. While there’s no need for any agent to use all of these apps, it’s likely that every agent can discover an app here that will be a lifesaver in 2022.
1.) QuickBooks Mobile
QuickBooks mobile gives you access to your accounting information at all times. When you have a moment, no matter where you are, you can begin categorizing your transactions. Save yourself the headache of sorting through your categorization at the end of the month, improve your understanding of your business, and make strategic moves from your newly-informed perspective with QuickBooks Mobile.
2.) Houzz
This is an app for you to recommend to your clients, rather than for you to use in your own work. It will give buyers the opportunity to explore decorating and remodeling ideas for the properties they’re interested in, ultimately allowing them to continue to “live” virtually in a property long after the first showing is over.
Houzz offers seamless, user-friendly filters that are ideal for your all clients, even those who aren’t tech savvy, or those who are short on time. This app is a must-recommend for any prospective homebuyer.
3.) Karl’s Mortgage Calculator
This recommendation is also for your clients, but by using it, your clients will be doing you—and themselves—a favor!
This free app will help buyers calculate precisely what their mortgage payments would be on a property. Interest and term are considered in addition to principal, and the down payment can be entered either as a percentage or as a set amount.
If your client wants to factor in HOA payments, homeowners’ insurance, taxes, PMI, or any other relevant fee, Karl’s Mortage Calculator is ready to go. Extra payments, larger payments, and one-off lump payments are also user-friendly options this app allows.
4.) Adobe Scan
iOS| Android
The incredible capabilities of app-based scanners have begun to make desk-top scanners this decade’s fax machine, and Adobe Scan is the best of the bunch. Securely scan any document, then forward, save, or sign electronically—and you’re good to go.
Make 2022 the year during which managing paperwork becomes a whole lot easier.
5.) Calendly Mobile
You’re in one of two positions: either you have an assistant to help manage your client meetings, or you dream of the day you’re able to hire one!
In the meantime, we suggest Calendly. This app works in conjunction with their web-based interface and gives you the power to make ONLY your available appointment times visible to your clients.
Simply connect Calendly to any online calendar you use, set your available times, and give your clients access to your appointments. They can claim a spot, and you’ll be notified immediately. Take your client appointment management to the next level, make your life easier, and give your clients a hassle-free booking experience with Calendly.
6.) CanvaPro
In a perfect world, real estate agents would all have extensive marketing savvy, dazzling personalities, lighting-fast typing skills, and graphic design skills that would make other designers green with envy.
In the real world, we all have our strengths—and our weaknesses. If you’re not a graphic design whiz, fear not! CanvaPro is the most user-friendly, effective, attractive design interface around.
Marketing yourself, your listings, and your aesthetic sensibilities is easier, faster, and more fun with CanvaPro. It doesn’t have the extensive capabilities of Photoshop, but it makes up for this gap by being worlds easier to learn.
7.) Lightroom
The property photos you take and edit can have a huge impact on the number of buyers who will contact you. If you don’t want to lug around a DLSR and then spend hours editing your RAW files at your desktop, consider Adobe’s Lightroom app.
Lightroom gives you the capability to capture images in RAW format rather than JPEG and edit your photos on your smartphone. You can attach these impressively high-quality photos to a listing entirely on your phone, saving yourself time and effort—without skimping on your listing results.
If you have a favorite real estate agent app that we haven’t listed, please share your ideas with us and with your fellow agents. Staying on top of the best technology available is an excellent strategy for remaining in our position as the premier real estate company in Tennessee. We look forward to all we’ll accomplish together in 2022!
